Set Up Telephone Voice Mail

To Record Your General Greeting

This applies only to rooms with more than one student. This is not needed for single-student rooms.

  1. Dial extension 1955. You will be prompted for your extension number.
  2. Enter your ID number followed by the # sign. (Your ID number is your own 4 digit extension.)
  3. Your initial password is 1111 followed by # sign.
  4. Once you log into your voicemail, follow the prompt commands that follow.

To record your personal mailbox greeting

  1. Dial extension 1950. You will be prompted for your extension number.
  2. Enter your ID number followed by the # sign. (Your ID number is your own 4 digit extension.)
  3. For rooms with multiple students, you must enter your 4 digit extension followed by either 1, 2, or 3 followed by the # sign, for each student's respective mailbox.
  4. Your initial password is 1111 followed by # sign.
  5. Press 8* to get the main menu.
  6. You must change your password to protect the security of the voicemail.
  7. Follow the command prompts that follow.
