Add/Drop
Students are given the opportunity to change their course schedule during the add/drop period, which lasts for approximately ten days at the beginning of each semester. (Please check with our office or look for notices stating the designated deadline for each semester). Changes made during this period are not reflected on the student’s permanent academic record. All add/drop forms require an advisor signature.
Full time undergraduates are required to have a minimum of 12 credits by the end of the add/drop period. Failure to do so may jeopardize eligibility for benefits available to full-time students (eg. financial aid, scholarship, health coverage, etc.)

Once the add/drop period is over, students have the option to withdraw from the course until just past mid-semester. However, please be aware that this will be documented on your permanent record as a grade of “W”.

*Please note: Students who do not attend a course for which they are registered are not automatically dropped from the course. You must follow outlined procedures for dropping or withdrawing from course. Students who fail to do so will receive a failing grade.
