Holocaust & Human Rights Education Center
Manhattanville College Library has recently collaborated with the Holocaust and Human Rights Education Center (HHREC), located on campus, to make its valuable collection of books available to users. The mission of the Holocaust and Human Rights Education Center is to enhance the teaching and learning of the lessons of the Holocaust, and the right of people to be treated with dignity and respect.
The book collection consists of about 1,300 works on the Holocaust and related aspects of Jewish history. The subject categories also include Holocaust survivor biographies and memoirs, and Holocaust art and fiction. The books are physically located in the HHREC, but will appear in CastleCat, the Manhattanville library catalogue. Library staff will retrieve books for users and they can be checked out to Manhattanville students and faculty. Please note that Faculty members can place books from this collection on reserve. For details, please contact the Library Circulation Desk.
