Abne Eisenberg InlineAbné M. Eisenberg is an adjunct professor at Manhattanville College and concurrently a Professor of Communications at Pace University. At Mville, he teaches Oral Presentation, Interpersonal/intercultural Communication, and Argumentation.  In 1989, he retired from The City University of New York (Herbert H. Lehman).  He has written and published a dozen textbooks on various aspects of communication. In 1971, he published one of the first books on Nonverbal Communication. His teaching philosophy is:  “Students are not vessels to be filled, but lamps to be lit.”  The book he has written of which he is most proud is titled: Call of the Restless Mind (Astik Pub., 1979); a collection of serendipitous essays covering a wide range of humanistic subjects.
