Dr. Adams received his B.S.M.E degree at the Rochester Institute of Technology, his M.S. from the College of Environmental Science and Forestry, Syracuse University, and his Ph.D. from Syracuse University.

Dr. Adams has been a professor at Manhattanville College since 1998, primarily teaching management courses that focus on human resources and entrepreneurship. “The career opportunity drew me to Manhattanville, but it was my great colleagues and the progressive and supportive work environment that kept me here” says Dr. Adams. “One of my favorite things about Manhattanville is having access to the latest in classroom technology, as I find that it enhances the teaching experience and makes it even more interesting.” 

Dr. Adams is a member and past president of the Westchester Human Resource Management Society. He also represents Manhattanville College at the Small Business Council of Westchester. “I believe that this role is important because it brings the community and the college together” explains Dr. Adams. “I am able to bring firsthand accounts of the latest events in the business world back to the classroom; and I also enjoy being a link for students who would like internships in the community.”
