Traditional BA Program
Certifications Available:
- Early Childhood (Birth - Gr. 2)
- Childhood Education (Grades 1-6)
- Middle Childhood Education (Grades 5-9) and Adolescent Education (Grades 7-12) [English, Math, Chemistry, Biology, Physics Education, Second Language, Social Studies]
- Art or Music, Theatre Education (Birth-Grade 12)
Traditional BA Program (major in a liberal art, minor in education, student teach senior year)
Upon graduation, successful completion of all N.Y.S. exams, and completion of certification application you are eligible to receive certification in one area; can teach in a public school in New York State. You have five years to complete a masters degree to be eligible for Permanent Certification.
