Seminars

Seminars-banner 395Our Graduate Business, Writing, and Liberal Studies programs serve the wider community by conducting training workshops, both in-house and on site, at corporate and organizational facilities.

Barat House seminars are non-credit programs available for adult learners. Barat House was established in 1978 by the Religious of the Sacred Heart associated with Manhattanville College. Barat House is both a physical place (a building on campus) as well as a place of spiritual and intellectual refreshment. The programs are designed to stimulate thought, review the classics, present contemporary theory, and provide means for spiritual renewal.

Manhattanville’s Writers’ Week program offers the opportunity to spend an intensive week of writing and working closely with some of the country’s finest writers and teachers of writing. Participants at all stages of development, novice to experienced, sign up for one of six workshops that meet all morning. Participants also have private conferences with their workshop leaders.
