Welcome!
Technology has made communicating and sharing ideas so much more immediate and vital, and with that in mind I welcome you to the debut of The President’s Blog, a new element of the Manhattanville Website that I hope you will have time to revisit often. I have timed this premiere to coincide with the opening of our fantastic new Student Center.
In the truest sense of the ideal established by the Ancient Greeks who so believed in the exchange of ideas, I hope to use this forum to share thoughts and observations about our campus and the world beyond our gates, always appreciating there may be opposing views to the opinions expressed here. I will not limit the subject areas I cover, but will always look for content that is of relevance to an institution of higher learning, but one that never forgets this is also a place where people live, relax, have fun and can explore all life has to offer.
So, I welcome you and look forward to sharing thought and ideas. I hope that PB’s View will help along the way.
